Ware Malcomb Announces Lauren Leyrer Promoted to Director, Civil Engineering in the Atlanta Office

Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced Lauren Leyrer, PE, has been promoted to Director, Civil Engineering, based in the firm’s Atlanta office. In this new role, she will focus on expanding Ware Malcomb’s market presence in Metro Atlanta, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the continued growth of the firm’s civil engineering practice across the Southeast.

In addition to leading successful projects, Leyrer is actively engaged in strengthening the Atlanta office culture through her involvement on the Culture Committee and supporting professional growth through Ware Malcomb’s Women in Engineering group. 

Leyrer has been involved in the industry since 2013 and has led variety of commercial development projects throughout the state. Prior to joining Ware Malcomb, she was Civil Engineering Group Leader for an Atlanta-based planning and engineering firm.

Leyrer is active in industry organizations such as Urban Land Institute, Association of Medical Facility Professionals, NAIOP and Women in Healthcare. She is a graduate of ULI’s Center for Leadership, Class of 2023 and is a past chair of ULI’s Women’s Leadership Initiative. 

Leyrer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
