Missouri S&T Alumnus Gary White Honored with 2025 Hoover Medal

ROLLA, Mo. – Gary White, co-founder and CEO of Water.org, has earned the 2025 Hoover Medal. The award will be presented during the Stockholm International Water Institute’s World Water Week Closing Ceremony in August. The Hoover Medal is awarded annually to an engineer whose work has improved humanity through technical achievement and service. White was recognized for more than 30 years of applying that mindset to the global water crisis, providing people living in poverty access to the infrastructure and financing they need to access safe water and sanitation. Duncanville ISD Celebrates Three Major Milestones in $170 Million Bond Program

DUNCANVILLE, Texas – Duncanville Independent School District recently celebrated three major milestones in its 2023 Bond Program with ribbon-cutting ceremonies for the Duncanville High School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Addition, the Clint Q. Smith Early Learning Academy and the Central Fine Arts Academy. Together, the projects strengthen educational opportunities from early childhood through career readiness. Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) serves as program manager for the district’s $170 million bond program, overseeing planning, procurement and project delivery. The Duncanville High School CTE Addition is among the largest projects in the bond program.
