American Concrete Institute Spring 2026 ACI Concrete Convention Breaks Attendance Record in Rosemont, Ill.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — The American Concrete Institute (ACI) announced today that its Spring 2026 ACI Concrete Convention, held in Rosemont, Ill., set a new attendance record, welcoming nearly 2,300 industry professionals from around the world, representing 42 different countries. This milestone marks the highest attendance at an ACI Concrete Convention, reflecting the growing demand for collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing across the global concrete industry.

The convention brought together engineers, architects, contractors, suppliers, academics, researchers, and students for a comprehensive program featuring technical sessions, committee meetings, educational courses, and networking events. Attendees engaged in discussions on the latest advancements in concrete materials, resilience, sustainability, and construction technologies.

  • Enhanced networking experiences fostering global collaboration

The convention also showcased the increasing importance of low-carbon concrete solutions and digital innovation, aligning with ACI’s strategic focus on advancing resilient and sustainable infrastructure, supported by NEU: An ACI Center of Excellence for Carbon Neutral Concrete.

The next ACI Concrete Convention in Atlanta, Ga., October 11 – 14, will continue building on this momentum, offering more opportunities for professionals to connect, learn, and lead the future of concrete.
