STV Names David Chung to Lead Healthcare Projects in the West
LOS ANGELES, CA — STV today announced that David Chung has joined the firm as vice president and healthcare project executive within its program management and construction management (PM/CM) operating group.
Chung will provide executive oversight for complex healthcare projects, helping ensure they are delivered on time and on budget. He will support healthcare clients across STV’s West region, where healthcare systems are advancing major capital programs as part of broader nationwide investment activity, including at least 15 U.S. hospital projects worth $1 billionor more currently in planning or development. Chung will also support client engagement and business development initiatives for STV’s healthcare PM/CM operating group.
Chung brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across healthcare planning, design, construction and facilities management. He has led large-scale acute care hospitals, ambulatory campuses and multi-campus healthcare programs for public, private, nonprofit and academic healthcare systems nationwide.
“David understands healthcare from the owner’s view, and that perspective is invaluable as healthcare systems push to deliver complex projects faster and smarter,” said David Kelly, vice president and healthcare practice leader for PM/CM at STV. “His leadership will help our clients turn ambitious capital programs into facilities that truly support patient care and community health.”
Chung holds a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
