Registration Now Open for the 2026 WTS International Annual Conference

Washington, D.C. — WTS International is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 WTS International Annual Conference, taking place May 5–7, 2026 at The Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles, California. Guided by the 2026 conference theme, Leading the Way: Accelerating Innovation in Transportation, the Annual Conference will convene transportation professionals from across North America to cultivate ideas, strengthen networks, and advance the future of the industry. Early bird pricing is available through late February.

The 2026 WTS International Annual Conference brings together diverse perspectives to explore innovative approaches to today’s most pressing transportation challenges. Attendees will gain insights from industry leaders, engage in meaningful dialogue, and leave equipped to lead with impact across all transportation modes.

“The WTS International Annual Conference is where leadership, innovation, and community come together,” said Bridgette Beato, Chair of the WTS International Board of Directors. “We are also thrilled to celebrate our 10,000-member milestone at the conference as we accelerate progress and strengthen the transportation workforce of tomorrow.”

The conference is open to both members and non-members and is designed for a broad audience, including:

  • Transportation professionals across all sectors, disciplines, and career stages
  • Public- and private-sector leaders, consultants, and industry partners
  • Individuals interested in learning more about WTS or considering membership
  • Students and emerging professionals pursuing or exploring careers in transportation, engineering, planning, policy, and related fields.

Whether a seasoned leader, new to the industry, or exploring a future in transportation, attendees will find valuable education, networking, and professional development opportunities throughout the conference.

WTS International extends special recognition to WTS–Los Angeles (WTS-LA) as the local host chapter. Their leadership and support play a key role in welcoming attendees to Los Angeles and showcasing the region’s dynamic transportation community.

A robust conference program will feature breakout panel sessions and WTS Talks presentations that reflect all transportation modes. Presenters will share specialized knowledge, innovations, insights, and real-world experiences. Session tracks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Technology at the Speed of Change
  • Small Business Strategies for the Future of Transportation

WTS International is an approved Certification Maintenance (CM) provider and is authorized to offer continuing education activities and events eligible for AICP CM credit, providing added value for attendees.

The conference will also feature the signature WTS Gala, where Strategic Partner Scholarships, WTS Foundation Scholarships, and WTS Recognition Awards will be presented, celebrating excellence and impact across the transportation community. In addition, WTS International will welcome new board members for the 2026–2028 term, as well as new members of the WTS Foundation Board of Directors, marking an important milestone in organizational leadership.
