David Peterson Joins KAI 360 CS as Senior Project Manager

KAI 360 Construction Services (KAI 360 CS) is pleased to announce the hiring of David Peterson as Senior Project Manager at its St. Louis headquarters.

ST. LOUIS, MO.—Peterson brings more than 47 years of international construction experience, having worked on complex, multimillion-dollar infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and the U.A.E., as well as across the United States. With a career grounded in construction and project management, his portfolio includes groundwater storage facilities, pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment plants, desalination plants, potable water networks, power distribution and lighting networks, roads, and oil and gas refineries, among other civil works projects.

“We are thrilled to welcome David to the KAI 360 CS team,” said Bruce Wood, PE, president of KAI 360 Construction Services. “His global experience, deep technical knowledge and steady leadership are exactly what we look for in a Senior Project Manager. David brings a level of expertise that strengthens our team and enhances the value we deliver to our clients.”

Before joining KAI, Peterson served as a Senior Project Manager and Project Director overseeing projects in New Mexico and California helping to establish procedures to standardize field operations.

Among his largest construction management assignments, Peterson contributed to the Greater Cairo Wastewater Project, an initiative spanning 338 square miles, processing nearly 800 million gallons per day, and serving more than 25 million people. The $3.4 billion program, considered one of the world’s largest civil engineering efforts, was undertaken by the Government of Egypt to address significant public health challenges and improve sanitation across Greater Cairo.

Peterson also supported the Greater Houston Wastewater Program, a five-year, $1.2 billion initiative to reduce wet-weather overflows within one of the nation’s largest wastewater systems. In this role, he supervised the inspection team responsible for construction oversight and contract compliance on all pipeline and pumping station projects in Houston’s southwest quadrant.

Peterson holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
