New pipeline and pump station will boost water supply reliability in Southern California Rialto, CA TSX — Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, has been selected by the Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) to lead the design of a new pump station and 11-mile recycled water pipeline in the western part of San Bernardino County, California. This infrastructure will convey recycled water from the City of Rialto’s wastewater treatment plant to IEUA’s proposed advanced water purification facility in Rancho Cucamonga. The new pipeline and pump station will support the delivery of up to 10 million gallons per day (MGD) of recycled water. Recycled water is central to IEUA’s Chino Basin Program, an initiative designed to improve water supply reliability and regional resilience.
