Ware Malcomb Announces Matt Kuehn, PE, Promoted to Regional Director, Civil Engineering in Phoenix Office

PHOENIX, Ariz. — Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced Matt Kuehn has been promoted to Regional Director, Civil Engineering, based in the firm’s Phoenix office. In this new role, he will continue advancing the growth and development of Ware Malcomb’s civil engineering practice across the southwest region, while also guiding the expansion of the firm’s civil engineering team in Latin America.

“Matt launched our civil engineering team in the Arizona market in 2019 and has since built a thriving and respected practice known for technical excellence, strong client relationships, and collaborative culture,” said Chris Strawn, PE, MBA, Vice President, Civil Engineering, Ware Malcomb. “His steady leadership, commitment to quality and passion for client service have been key to his success, and we congratulate him on this well-earned promotion.” 

A licensed Civil Engineer in 35 US states, Kuehn brings more than 25 years of experience in civil engineering and land development to his new role at Ware Malcomb. He specializes in land development consulting support, land entitlements, civil engineering design services, and has a background in a variety of project types including commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail and residential. His experience also includes working on Tribal land projects, both residential and commercial.

Kuehn holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southern Michigan.
