STV Welcomes Randall Divito as Vice President, National Water Tunnel Engineering Director
BUFFALO, NY — STV, a leading professional services firm that plans, designs and manages infrastructure projects across North America, today announced that Randall Divito, PE, P.Eng., has joined the firm as vice president and national water tunnel engineering director. In this role, Divito will lead the strategic expansion of STV’s water tunnel engineering practice, guiding multidisciplinary teams on major infrastructure projects nationwide.
Divito brings more than 30 years of experience in civil engineering, geotechnics and tunneling, including work on many of the most complex underground infrastructure projects in North America. He has led U.S. and international business lines at global engineering consultancies, overseeing technical delivery for large-scale programs and advanced innovation in tunnel design and controlled blasting.
With over 30 years of experience in civil engineering, geotechnics and tunneling, Divito has led landmark water and transit programs in dense urban environments and complex global geographies. His expertise spans all project stages: from water conveyance and stormwater facilities to rail, highway, utility and research tunnels. Through his work on North America’s most complex underground projects and his technical publications, he has shaped industry best practices in tunnel design and controlled blasting.

A licensed professional engineer in 11 U.S. states and Ontario, Canada, Divito holds a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University at Buffalo. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and an active member of several leading industry organizations.
