AO ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL PROMOTIONS DURING 50TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR  

The architecture firm names 12 Associates, reinforcing commitment to nurture talent and advance leadership 

ORANGE, Calif.AO, a leading full-service architecture firm with design expertise spanning the full commercial and multifamily real estate spectrum, announced an additional round of promotions today, recognizing several key team members for their outstanding contributions. 

Twelve key employees were promoted to the position of Associate: 

  • Minami Baum oversees every stage of the design process, ensuring a unified integration of aesthetics and functionality, focusing on commercial design and master planning.  
  • Aaron Childs, Architect, focuses on multifamily design and production, serving as a primary contact with clients on complex residential assignments.  
  • Ether Dai oversees the entire design process from concept through completion, while generating essential drawing documents and engaging with clients and consultants to ensure project successes. 
  • Genaro Diaz, ASLA, is a dynamic architect with over 15 years of dedicated experience, specializing in hospitality, mixed-use, and high-density residential projects. 
  • Rio Garcia, brings a wealth of expertise in construction administration and the architectural industry, specializing in multifamily and mixed-use projects. 
  • Brenda Gutierrez, AIA, brings over a decade of diverse experience in architecture, spanning project types such as hospitality, mixed-use, multifamily, restaurant, and interior design. 
  • Justin Hebenstreit, Architect, has become a pivotal force within AO, working to create cohesive designs that not only drive project success but also foster enduring positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike. 
  • Romeo Mangalus has a global footprint and has contributed his artistic touch to projects all over the world, specializing in design and renderings. 
  • Steve Osdale oversees the coordination and completion of projects from schematic design through construction documents and administrative tasks until completion and opening. 
  • Scott Rutledge, AIA, LEED AP, specializes in residential and hospitality, providing design, entitlement, project management, and construction management services, and contributes significantly to both the multifamily and hospitality studios.  
  • Chandni Thacker, Assoc. AIA, brings over a decade of experience in many project types ranging from healthcare, commercial, multifamily housing, and single-family homes. 
  • Tu Tran is a seasoned designer who specializes in front-end design development and presentations. 

AO has seen significant growth over the last year due in large part to the contributions of these newly named Associates. Significant recent projects from these Associates’ studios include Warner Red Hill, Park and Paseo, Solis Park, VRV, Topanga Social, and Mountain View Village.
