Newport, RI –  Skanska, a leading global construction and development firm, today announced that it has been awarded a $271 million contract by NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic to construct a new homeport pier for four U.S. Coast Guard Offshore Patrol Cutters at Naval Station Newport in Newport, Rhode Island.
