Innovative Site Design Revitalizes Northern End of Central Park WASHINGTON —  Langan Engineering and Environmental Services, LLC of Parsippany, N.J. has earned a National Recognition Award for exemplary engineering achievement in the American Council of Engineering Companies’ (ACEC) 59 th  annual Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA). The award comes for the Davis Center at the Harlem Meer in New York.  The Loch, which had been culverted beneath the Lasker Rink and Pool in the 1960s, was restored to its naturally flowing state by an innovative strategy of resurfacing the underground stream, improving stormwater management, and enhancing biodiversity.
