Charting the Course: Celebrating the 2026 Best Firms to Work For and Hot Firm Award Winners

Every year, AEC firms chart their own course. Some pursue rapid growth, expanding into new markets and reaching new milestones.  Others focus on creating workplaces where people can thrive.  Most are working towards both, navigating challenges and opportunities while building stronger businesses. 

Individually, each firm’s journey tells a unique story.  Together, those stories create a map of excellence across the AEC industry. 

The 2026 Best Firms to Work For and Hot Firm winners represent the organizations helping shape that map.  They come from different regions, disciplines, and backgrounds, but each has demonstrated a commitment to growth, culture, and long-term success. 

This fall, those paths will converge at ElevateAEC, where industry leaders from across North America will gather to celebrate the achievements of this year’s winners and the impact they continue to make on the AEC industry. 

No two firms arrive at success the same way. 

Some organizations have earned recognition as a Hot Firm by achieving extraordinary growth, expanding their reach, creating opportunities, and adapting to a rapidly changing industry.  Others have been recognized as Best Firms to Work For by building cultures that attract talent, support employees, and create environments where people want to stay and growth.
