COWI North America Lands Dual Honors for Landmark Infrastructure Projects
New York, N.Y — COWI North America has received two significant project awards from the ACEC California, an engineering association recognizing excellence in both public and private works infrastructure. The honors reflect the firm’s continued focus on delivering innovative, resilient, and community-focused transportation solutions across the United States. One award recognizes the Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing at Bollinger Canyon Road in San Ramon, California. Commissioned by the Contra Costa Transportation Authority, the pedestrian and cyclist bridge provides a safe crossing over one of the city’s busiest arterial corridors while ensuring uninterrupted connectivity along the heavily used Iron Horse Trail. Serving as Prime Consultant and Engineer of Record, COWI led design, engineering, and construction-phase support for the project.
