COWI North America Lands Dual Honors for Landmark Infrastructure Projects 

New York, N.Y — COWI North America has received two significant project awards from the ACEC California, an engineering association recognizing excellence in both public and private works infrastructure. The honors reflect the firm’s continued focus on delivering innovative, resilient, and community-focused transportation solutions across the United States.  One award recognizes the Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing at Bollinger Canyon Road in San Ramon, California. Commissioned by the Contra Costa Transportation Authority, the pedestrian and cyclist bridge provides a safe crossing over one of the city’s busiest arterial corridors while ensuring uninterrupted connectivity along the heavily used Iron Horse Trail.  Serving as Prime Consultant and Engineer of Record, COWI led design, engineering, and construction-phase support for the project. KAI Delivers MEP Engineering for $210M America’s Center Expansion in Downtown St. Louis

St.Louis, Mo. — KAI provided MEPFP engineering and sustainability consulting on the recently completed $210 million expansion and renovation of the Cervantes Convention Center at America’s Center in downtown St. Louis. The AC Next Gen project, jointly funded by the City of St. Louis and Explore St. Louis, was completed in November 2024 with the goal of modernizing and enlarging the America’s Center Convention Complex to attract major conventions and events to the region. This was the first expansion of the Convention Center since the early 1990s. The America’s Center complex is situated next to the Dome at America’s Center, former home of the NFL’s St. Louis Rams and current home of the UFL’s St. Louis BattleHawks. Trinity River Authority’s CRWS Junction Box 1020J Replacement Honored as Sewer Project of the Year at Underground Infrastructure Conference 

Grand Prairie, Texas — The Trinity River Authority’s (TRA) Central Regional Wastewater System (CRWS) Junction Box 1020J Replacement and Improvement Project received the Sewer Project of the Year award at the 2025 Underground Infrastructure Conference. This accolade recognizes projects that demonstrate innovation, complexity and lasting impact on critical underground infrastructure systems.  Designed and managed by Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN), the project addressed the failure of a major reinforced concrete junction structure serving TRA’s wastewater conveyance system in Grand Prairie, Texas.
