Ware Malcomb Announces Construction is Complete on Pierre Fabre Laboratories U.S. Headquarters in Secaucus, NJ

NEWARK, N.J. — Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced construction is complete on a new headquarters for Pierre Fabre Laboratories U.S, located at 500 Plaza Dr. within the mixed-use Harmon Meadow campus in Secaucus, New Jersey. Ware Malcomb provided architecture and interior design services for the 18,934 SF office, which now hosts the company’s dermo-cosmetics and medical care subsidiaries.

Pierre Fabre is a global healthcare company that was founded in France and is now world’s second-largest dermo-cosmetics manufacturer, as well as a global player in oncology, cell and gene therapy, rare disease, and dermatology. The office’s Secaucus address was chosen for its strategic location, with transportation links to New York City and the broader tri-state area.

Pierre Fabre’s core values are reflected throughout the headquarters design, showcasing a deep respect for the environment and a commitment to sustainable innovation. The design also emphasizes hands-on learning for its teams and partners by incorporating immersive onsite skin and hair stations.

The open workplace configuration promotes collaboration, by seamlessly blending organic forms with biophilic elements that connect people to nature. The open layout integrates a variety of functional spaces – from open offices and huddle rooms to a large communal panty, all which are elevated by architectural highlights such as biophilic green walls, transitional glass, and large-format fabric pendant lighting.

Sustainable materials were used throughout the project, including low embodied carbon and carbon-neutral flooring, natural wood veneer, bio-based and linoleum flooring, and low-VOC wall finishes.  

General contracting services for the project were provided Unity Construction Services, Inc.
