SmithGroup adds Mackenzie Haehl to business development team in Phoenix

FINFROCK SELECTS PALM BEACH COUNTY PROPERTY FOR EXPANSION

BELLE GLADE, Fla.  – FINFROCK , a Central Florida design-builder and manufacturer and one of that area’s largest employers, has completed an extensive search of South Florida properties, identifying the Glades Gateway Commerce Park located at 500 Orange Avenue Circle in Belle Glade, Florida for the company’s future expansion into Palm Beach County. Yet, worsening  claims experience is prompting most insurers to seek larger rate increases, according to a new survey by specialty insurance broker Ames & Gough. As they look ahead in 2021, nearly all insurers in the Ames & Gough survey of 20 leading insurance companies (which, on a combined basis, represent a significant percentage of the overall marketplace providing professional liability insurance to architects and engineers in the U.S.) are planning to raise rates. Nueces County Courthouse Facelift Underway

LAN Serving as Program Manager (CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas) Construction is underway to reskin the Nueces County Courthouse Building in Corpus Christi, an iconic 12-story tower built in 1977. While the building’s structure has stood the test of time, its façade has deteriorated. Over the years, water has leaked into the building, creating mildew. In 2019, a piece of travertine stone from the building’s facade fell and cracked one of the atrium’s three-pane windows. The County erected scaffolding, plywood, and safety netting to protect the building’s exterior and pedestrians. Over the next year, Nueces County, in partnership with planning, engineering and program management firm  Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. More than $100 Million Going to Rural Communities for Infrastructure Improvements
