CARDNO SUPPORTS DEVELOPMENT OF UNMANNED AVIATION PILOT TRAINING CURRICULUM FOR U.S. MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CENTER
Santa Barbara, CA – Cardno, an international professional infrastructure and environmental services firm, has built and is continuing to refine an unmanned aviation program for the U.S. Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) at Twentynine Palms, the world’s largest USMC training and testing range. This included developing the installation infrastructure, safety management system, and operational regulatory framework to support routine Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) flight operations in conjunction with and in support of large-scale training events. As part of this program’s development/management contract, Cardno created all of the unmanned aviation pilot training curriculum for MCAGCC.
